The JB and Benny Blue Review Podcast was started in April of 2016 by two new friends bonded by their love of football, hip-hop, and savagery.
Jeremy “JB” Bridges is a former offensive lineman in NFL, playing 10 years in the league for the Eagles, Redskins, Panthers, and Cardinals (Go #Birdgang). Since retiring, he has become a coach and fitness professional, and enjoys spending time with his children, and taking your girl.
Ben “Benny Blue” Rhinesmith is a former music and sports publicist turned stand-up comedian and podcaster. He can be regularly seen performing in venues all over Los Angeles, and enjoys making women weep and men cower. He is an avid Lions fan, and requires heart medication in order to get through their games.
Together, they are producing one of the fastest rising sports and entertainment podcasts around. The show is built on a simple idea: no “hot takes”, just real talk. Not afraid to say what they want, listeners can expect hilarious perspectives backed up with unfiltered truth and plenty of memorable (and NSFW) phrases and sayings.
As we swing closer to a COVID Christmas, things got so icy in the much anticipated Gucci vs Jeezy VERZUZ music battle, and our guy Kevin Robinson joins The Review to go in on all of it! Plus, JB and Benny break down the four AFC and NFC teams vying for a playoff spot in their patented “2 Legit 2 Quit?” segment discussing which teams still have a chance and which teams should hang it up. Finally, Kevin discusses his new book “The G-Code”, including tips on how to become a more solid person and how you can make the most of the pandemic, especially when it comes to business!
The craziest Presidential election of all time is wrapping up (or is it?) and The Review is back to break down what happened, how it happened, and what Biden/Harris and The People need to do in order to make all the drama worth it in the end. Then, they are joined by the Special Birdgang Correspondent Sean McConnell (KSRN Arizona/Kazual Sportz) to break down the 2nd Quarter State of the Birdgang and discuss the Cardinals run to the top of the NFC West, defensive playmakers, upcoming schedule, and more!

The NBA and NFL at the same time?! Finally, the boys are joined by JB’s friend and teammate from the Carolina Panthers & current UCLA Running Backs Coach DeShaun Foster for an exclusive interview!
While this podcast more than any thrives off of football talk, it is becoming increasingly likely that we won’t have a College Football season (or at least an altered one!). The Review discusses how this shakeup can affect the decisions and power of players moving forward. Then, they break down The Rock’s purchase of the XFL and how it may change the connection between CFB and the NFL. Finally, they salute the red hot Phoenix Suns and break down what it will take to turn them into legitimate contenders!
With the Rona seemingly never ending, it’s important to get perspective on the new normal, and who better to break it down than a COVID-19 Survivor! Then, the boys break down the MLB’s early season stumbles, Alex Smith’s future in the NFL, the Jamal Adams trade to the Seahawks, and more!
