Arizona Cardinals Make Cuts Going into the Weekend

Some of the notable cuts include tight end Ricky Seals-Jones, wide receiver Pharoh Cooper, cornerback Brandon Williams (waived/injured), wide receiver Chad Williams, rookie tight end Caleb Wilson and recently-acquired defensive lineman Bruce Hector.

Those on the bubble who made the team include inside linebacker Tanner Vallejo, outside linebacker Pete Robertson, undrafted defensive tackle Miles Brown, running back D.J. Foster, guard Jeremy Vujnovich and wide receiver Damiere Byrd.

Sunday morning we will see if the Redbirds take advantage of the waiver wire, as a few guys were released today. The most notable so far is Linebacker from the Oakland Raiders Brandon Marshall, once a Bronco which if the Cardinals make a move he would be reunited with Van Joseph in the same system.

The corner position didn’t yield much but we will see if the team adds to the four corners on the roster, it looks like they have no choice to get someone because one of the four on roster is Patrick Peterson who opens the season on a six game suspension.

Stay tuned as we keep you updated. One other note, our very own Arizona native and former ASU Sun Devil quarterback Manny Wilkins was cut from the Packers.
